We will celebrate this in various ways. On Friday 18 October &#8211; our actual anniversary &#8211; we will hold a Repair Caf\u00e9 XL in The Hague. In the city where the Dutch government is housed, we will show what Repair Caf\u00e9 is all about: we&#8217;re for repairing, but also for collaboration, volunteering and a shared commitment to a sustainable future.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Joint bunting line makes global movement visible<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>During the Repair Caf\u00e9 XL, we also want to emphasise that Repair Caf\u00e9 is a global movement, with supporters in more than 40 countries across six continents. Therefore, we invite all Repair Caf\u00e9s to make a textile flag to hang on a common bunting line. Repair Caf\u00e9 International offers a pattern and instructions on how to make it.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Create your own flag and send it to Repair Caf\u00e9 International<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Want your Repair Caf\u00e9 to participate, too? Then, download the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.repaircafe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Pattern_flag_English.pdf\">pattern<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.repaircafe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Procedure_anniversary_flag_English.pdf\">instructions<\/a> and get creative. Send the result to Repair Caf\u00e9 International in Amsterdam (our address is in the instructions). Using all contributions, we will make a &#8211; hopefully very long &#8211; bunting line that we can use to decorate the Repair Caf\u00e9 XL party location on 18 October.
