Dat staat in een <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/en\/press-room\/20220309IPR25157\/right-to-repair-meps-set-out-their-demands-ahead-of-commission-s-proposal\">resolutie<\/a> die het Europees Parlement op 16 maart met een grote meerderheid heeft aangenomen.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens de parlementsleden moet het recht op reparatie worden uitgebreid. Ook onafhankelijke reparateurs en gewone consumenten zouden gratis toegang moeten krijgen tot reparatie- en onderhoudsinformatie. Het huidige recht op reparatie geldt in de praktijk vooral voor professionele, merkgebonden reparateurs.<\/p>\n<h2>Door te repareren kunnen consumenten bijdragen aan de circulaire economie<\/h2>\n<p>Met de resolutie voert het parlement de druk op de Europese Commissie op. Die laatste komt dit jaar sowieso met plannen om reparatie en hergebruik te stimuleren. &#8220;Met deze resolutie maken we glashelder wat we van de Commissie verwachten&#8221;, zegt de Duitse Anna Cavazzini, die het initiatief tot de resolutie nam.
